Alex is originally from Saskatoon and spent his high school years as a competitive swimmer. As an adult he still loves the water and can often be found at the pool or competing in Open Water races.
With a love for learning, Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from USask, a Master of Public Health from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Physical Therapy from USask.
As a Physiotherapist, Alex has an interest in orthopaedics, sports and neurorehabilitation and is excited to be a part of the Nomad Therapies and Lead teams as they both have such versatile groups of therapists to learn from. He views learning from others as an invaluable tool to his own growth as a therapist.
Alex strives to be a partner for his clients to help enable and educate them in their journey towards their movement and health goals. This includes partnering with clients who are coming back from an injury, looking to improve their performance, and everything in between.
“I love the science and theory behind the rehabilitative process.”
Alex gets his energy from working with others. It allows him to come to work each day genuinely ready to give it his all for his clients.
