Chanel Benson
Massage Therapist

Chanel graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in April 2022. She specializes in deep tissue treatments, relaxation massage, trigger point therapy and applications of hydrotherapy.
Chanel grew up in Melfort where she played and coached volleyball throughout high school. After her own experience as an athlete and coach, Chanel was drawn to learn more about the body and functional movement and moved to Saskatoon to attend the U of S College of Kinesiology before finding her passion and transitioning into massage therapy. Knowing the benefits of massage therapy in alleviating her chronic migraines, she knew she could help others experience the same relief.
I love seeing positive change for my clients in every aspect – physical, mental and emotional.
Starting out as a patient, Chanel was drawn to Lead because of the vibrant dynamic and the many opportunities it provides clients to discover and achieve their wellness goals through the integrated approach. Chanel was also inspired to learn more about Lead when a Lead Pilates Instructor taught and spoke to her class at the U of S, sharing her journey and how Pilates had changed her life.
Chanel believes that understanding and aligning with client’s goals is important to supporting and assisting them in achieving them and she strives to bring an encouraging, welcoming, positive energy to every treatment. She is grateful and appreciative to have the opportunity to give her clients the relief and benefit of massage that she experienced as an athlete and when dealing with chronic migraines.
When she is not treating clients, Chanel is spending time with her 2 cats and dog, or visiting her family back in Melfort. Chanel also loves cooking and baking and is always on the lookout for new recipes.
