Sharlene earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 1998. Prior to that she also completed a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy.
Sharlene’s post-graduate training includes extensive course work in pelvic health and orthopaedics. Additionally, she has completed training in Diane Lee’s Integrated Systems Model, which provides her excellent skills in whole body integration. She also has completed extensive course work in treatment of chronic pain disorders and the sensitized nervous system.
Sharlene specializes in women’s health, including: pelvic pain, post-partum rehabilitation (helping new or not so new moms put themselves back together) and pelvic floor dysfunction. Assisting clients in restoring the deep core muscles allows patients to return to previous pursuits or tackle new ones without pain and limitation. Sharlene’s main philosophy is treating the whole person; taking into account their whole history of injury and dysfunction.
