If you have wanted to try our popular CoreAlign® classes but could not commit to our once a week requirement, our CoreAlign Foundations class would be great for you. Easy-to-learn exercises on the CoreAlign emphasize an upright posture and are designed to improve posture, balance and functional movement. Stand taller and move more efficiently. Your core will get stronger (and by core, we just don’t mean your abs – we mean your front, back and sides of your torso). The CoreAlign is a great add-on to your current workout schedule or – it can very easily be a workout on its own.
The CoreAlign creates an environment for your body that will work to ‘undo’ patterns and habits (or old injures that have never been totally fixed) that are starting to cause issues in our activities of daily living. It is great for people with knee and hip issues, SI joint issues and for people who want to stand taller to combat today’s ‘tech neck syndrome’. We combine work on the CoreAlign with exercises called “Archetypal Postures” – these archetypal postures work on basic positions that should be ‘restful’ but because of the conveniences of life (sitting in particular) we lose these restful positions. We will work on the floor to improve these postures. The mix of CoreAlign and Archetypal Postures in this class are the perfect mix of getting your body back in tune.
