Welcome to human movement 101!
This class takes yoga and other forms of movement and provides a “modern twist” to our body’s needs, given our sedentary culture. As a result, you will gain a new sense of awareness of your body in space, increase your understanding of proper alignment, and begin to move your body better in your day-to-day life. Whether you are an avid athlete, a perpetual yogi, or have never done yoga before, this class is designed for all movers in mind and spirit. We will go over important “boundaries” in our bodies, strengthen critical postural muscles, and learn new takes on adapting traditional yoga poses into a more modern practice.
