You know how sometimes you will be given a cue in a class and you kind of try to use it but it doesn’t really sink in or work for you? Well I had heard the cue to start the breath (exhale) before you start the movement, but it had never really worked that well for me – I guess I didn’t really commit to making it work.
But today, well today was different. I got more ab work in class tonight using that technique to it’s fullest than I have in some time – because for a change I was really able to truly activate my core on pretty much every single exercise I did in class. I know I don’t always do a good job on activating my core but this worked tonight.
So use that LEADing breath to it’s best advantage!
