I took a Mat Foundations Class with Jen and I had the opportunity to work one on one with her. It was really cool. Jen was very helpful and she ensured my posture was correct. She really emphasized that on each move I was remembering to BREATHE! With a lot of these positions it is not only using your body but it’s also using your brain and thinking about each movement – it’s one of the most all-encompassing classes I’ve taken so far. We did some arm movements, pelvic floor work and some leg work. It is a slow paced class which really allows you to reap the full benefits of pilates.
Dr. MacKenzie treated me again and I have really started to feel the tension release in my neck and shoulders.
Tonight was Aging Backwards with Sabrina. She is such a great instructor. This class is a good workout. We worked everything from our hands and fingers to feet and toes. We also worked on our abs. Release work on our muscles with 2 different size balls is helpful. Sabrina keeps the class flowing with music and positivity. I can’t wait for the next class.
